Designing Cobranding Campaign for Austin College 175th Anniversary
Austin College celebrated their 175th anniversary this year and is oldest college in Texas operating under its original charter and name.
Austin College adopted the phrase "Explore, Belong, Make a Difference" to celebrate this high achievement.
CHALLENGE
To design a new branding campaign that reflects Austin College's strong foundation and history of 175 years, while increasing the brand awareness of the already existing brand.
1] Communicate Austin College's historic milestone while keeping the design modern and fresh.
GOALS
2] Align campaign with the existing brand of the College.
3] Create a responsive logo set for easy application to campus-wide branding pieces.
PROCESS
Visuals
To successfully align the 175th branding with the existing Austin College brand, I leaned on the campuses rich and timeless architectural history, that also incorporates the high achieving liberal arts education the college stands upon.

The Science and Math building that is home to one of the largest observatories in Texas.
The Austin College athletics 'Roo.
The campus chapel that features the Presbyterian heritage of the college.
Stain glass from the oldest building on campus.
The Theatre and Communications building that helps to highlight the campus life.
Additional Visuals
To make the branding versatile, we included two supporting logos that can be scaled smaller and used across various digital and print formats.



IMPLEMENTATION



Email Campaigns
The 175th year of Austin College was introduced through an email campaign that spearheaded a Make a Difference service campaign to encourage students, alumni, and friends of the college to serve their communities. Both campaigns ran throughout the entire 175th year, and we're branded with the 175th anniversary cobranding of Austin College.




Digital Assets
To support the overall branding of the 175th anniversary we created digital assets for various electronic messages sent throughout the year, and branded existing outreach mailings with 175 elements.








Print Assets
One key branding piece for this campaign was the creation of print assets. This extended our branding to not only the Austin College campus, but the surrounding community as well.
